The official material name is Redsand, although players often search for “Red Sand.” There are two verified source routes: obtain it from Redsoil, or use the trail left by a moving Redweaver as a renewable source. Redsand can then combine with Void Petals to form Voidbloom, but the materials need to meet through falling rather than merely being pushed together horizontally on a Conveyor.

“Renewable Redsand” does not mean infinite speed or a maintenance-free enclosure. It means the moving Redweaver provides a repeatable source. Rate and layout stability remain version-sensitive test questions.
Natural Redsand from Redsoil
Use Redsoil when the immediate objective is to identify or collect Redsand without building a creature enclosure. Keep the source, extraction area and output visible during the first test so the material identity can be confirmed before it enters a mixed logistics line.

A natural source solves availability, not renewability. Do not label a Redsoil route “infinite” without evidence that the specific source replenishes. When the search task is sustained production, move to the Redweaver route.
Keep natural collection as its own branch even after renewable production is available. It provides a useful reference sample: store a small amount of confirmed Redsand in a labelled buffer and compare later output against it before combining anything with Void Petals. This reduces the chance that Redsoil, another red material or mixed transport is mistaken for the intended input.
Renewable Redsand with Redweaver
A moving Redweaver leaves Redsand. A Corraller can capture a Redweaver, giving the factory a way to keep the creature in a controlled area. The evidence also records an important failure mode: the Redweaver can trap itself depending on the layout.
Build the renewable route in stages:
- Observe the Redweaver moving and confirm Redsand appears along its path.
- Choose an enclosure area that leaves the full movement path visible.
- Add the Corraller boundary without immediately attaching collection machinery.
- Watch for corners or piles that stop movement.
- Collect Redsand from a reachable edge of the path.
- Run the enclosure long enough to observe repeated movement before calling it stable.
- Attach transport only after the creature continues moving with collection active.
This sequence separates creature behavior from logistics. A stopped output may mean the Redweaver stopped moving, not that a Conveyor failed.
Use two observation points in the first enclosure. One should show an unobstructed section of the Redweaver's path; the other should show the edge where Redsand is removed. If the path remains active but the collection point is empty, inspect how material reaches that edge. If the path itself stops, remove collection machinery from the diagnosis and restore movement first. This distinction prevents repeated Conveyor changes from hiding an enclosure failure.
Do not size a permanent factory from a brief observation. Record the enclosure shape, whether material accumulates, how the creature recovers from a corner and how long the route stays active. These are local test results until they are reproduced against a named game version.
Use Redsand to make Voidbloom
Redsand and Void Petals can form Voidbloom. The critical setup rule is contact geometry: the two materials need to meet by falling. Simply pushing them together horizontally on a Conveyor may leave both inputs present without triggering the intended result.
Use a controlled reaction test:
- Feed Redsand and Void Petals from separate, visible buffers.
- Create vertical space where at least one stream falls into the other.
- Start with small amounts so the contact point stays visible.
- Keep the output area empty enough to identify Voidbloom.
- Stop both inputs if material accumulates without reacting.
- Adjust the fall path before increasing supply.

A single Voidbloom result confirms that the materials can react; it does not confirm that the feed clears itself or that a continuous line remains stable. A dependable layout needs repeated reactions, visible output removal and a recovery step for unreacted input.
Why the Redsand route fails
The Redweaver produces nothing
Confirm that it is moving. The renewable relationship is tied to movement. Inspect for enclosure corners, accumulated material or collection structures that have reduced its usable path.
The Redweaver traps itself
Treat this as a known layout risk, not an unexplained glitch. Stop calling the route stable, clear the obstruction and widen or simplify the path. Record how long the revised enclosure runs before scaling it.
Redsand and Void Petals touch but do not react
Check the direction of contact. A horizontal Conveyor collision is not the verified method. Rebuild the contact point so the materials meet while falling.
Material piles hide the result
Stop both feeds, clear the reaction and output zones, then test a small batch. A visible, bounded test is more useful than adding input to a blocked area.
Natural Redsand runs out
Natural acquisition from Redsoil and renewable production from a moving Redweaver are separate routes. If continued output is required, build and validate the Redweaver route instead of assuming the natural source will replenish.
What the current sources confirm
This guide does not claim a “best infinite red sand farm.” The current sources establish a source chain and a reaction rule; they do not establish output per minute, the minimum safe Corraller size, a self-recovery mechanism or an exact Voidbloom drop height.
Before a copyable layout can be promoted, it needs a current-version record covering setup geometry, runtime, failure observations, recovery steps and reproducibility. Until then, use the diagrams above as diagnostic models rather than pixel-perfect blueprints.
